UNSW – Progress For All 3D Animation

Commissioned by UNSW’s Brand and Marketing team, Mikkapedia developed the signature door-to-light sequence that appears 26 seconds into the “Progress for All” launch film. Working with director Versus and production company Collider, I built a physically accurate 3-D environment in Cinema 4D and lit the scene with Redshift to evoke limitless opportunity.

My role covered look-development, camera animation, volumetric-light simulations and final compositing into 4K ProRes plates. Toolset: Cinema 4D, Redshift, After Effects and Nuke. The final animation was delivered in three aspect ratios for social, outdoor LED and internal screens.

Outcome: the film screened at UNSW’s 2024 open day and reached 1.2 million views across paid social within the first week.
