Generative Art, Algorithmic Art, Creative Coding, Mathematical Colour Mapping, Polar Coordinates

Mathematical Currents is a pair of generative artworks created for Aida's Peti-ta Showroom exhibit, built using an interactive system that translates mathematical equations into colour and form. Each piece uses polar coordinates, where patterns emerge radially from a central point rather than across a standard cartesian grid. This approach produces smooth, organic symmetry and fluid compositions that are mathematically precise but visually intuitive. Printed on acrylic glass and designed specifically to complement the Peti-ta space, the works were shown as part of a community-run exhibition event.

Edition: Acrylic glass prints, 20cm
